If one of my claims has been excluded am I liable to pay the debt after the IVA has closed?
If we do not receive a formal claim from any of people you owe money to when requested throughout the closure process they may be excluded from the arrangement for dividend purposes. As a result they may not receive a payment in respect of the amount they are owed.
Even in this scenario the debt is written off in full and you are no longer liable to pay them. People you owe money to cannot pursue their claim against you for the balance owed to them.
