Although your debts may seem overwhelming, Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) advice from an experienced advisor could be the first step in dealing effectively with your debt problems. Then looking for IVA advice, be aware that an IVA is a legally binding contract between you and people you owe money to whereby you only pay what you can comfortably afford each month, usually over a period of five years.
After the term of your arrangement, any remaining debts will be written.
Call us on 0800 083 1433 to discuss more about IVAs.
We will provide you with in-depth IVA advice based on careful analysis of your situation.
How Do You Qualify For An IVA?
To qualify for an IVA you need to owe £12,000 or more, and you or your partner would need to be in full-time employment.
We will offer IVA advice to anyone in this position, but will only suggest you continue with the process if it truly is the best solution for you based entirely on your own situation and circumstances.
IVA Debt Solution
IVAs are often the best solution if you’re facing insolvency i.e. you cannot afford to meet your monthly payments as they fall due. With an IVA:
- You will only pay what you can comfortably afford each month
- Since an IVA is a legal contract it can be used to stop people you owe money to hassling you.
- Unlike bankruptcy, an IVA cannot jeopardise your job or future business plans.
- With an IVA, people you owe money to cannot charge interest or change their minds at any time as long as you keep up the repayments
We will provide you with in-depth IVA advice based on careful analysis of your situation. If an IVA is the best course of action, we will help you every step of the way:
- We will contact people you owe money to on your behalf and prepare all relevant documentation needed for your initial IVA proposal.
- We will act as the moderator between you and people you owe money to throughout the process.
- Our friendly staff will provide you with non judgemental help, information and IVA advice whenever you need it.
