IVA solves back to school overspend (26 Aug 2010)

Parents who have overspent kitting their kids out for school could benefit from debt advice on debt solutions such as an IVA or a Debt Management Plan.

It comes as research from LV= found that parents in the UK are due to spend around £709 million on back to school preparations.

The company calculated that the cost of uniforms, stationary, sportswear and winter coats added up to around £122 per child, rising to £139 for secondary school kids.
